The SE6950 is a compact 2D OEM scanning engine engineered for seamless integration into automated systems, built around a 1.3-megapixel global shutter sensor that captures 1280 × 1080 pixel images. Its robust construction withstands impact, making it suitable for industrial-grade environments, while its small footprint supports embedded designs across medical, automation, and commercial equipment. The engine reads barcodes with a minimum print contrast of 15% reflectance difference and is illuminated by either red or warm white LEDs, with aiming options of a green LED dot or red laser cross. Multiple field-of-view variants are available, including an ultra-wide-angle version with a 73.2°H × 63.8°V range, alongside standard, high-density, and medium-distance models to match diverse reading distances.

Operating reliably from -30°C to 60°C, it maintains consistent performance across temperature extremes, with flexible USB or serial port interfaces and LED or laser aiming systems to suit specific installation requirements.
